HSUS Misses the Mark on BLM Wild Horse Stampedes « Straight from the Horse's Heart

The Humane Society of the United States issued a report on July 13^th stating that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) needs to be more transparent in how they manage their oftentimes deadly wild horse and burro helicopter stampedes. No insult intended to this well respected animal welfare organization but that is exactly what active wild horse advocates have been screaming about for years and speaks directly to the lawsuit that Wild Horse Freedom Federation’s vice president Laura Leigh has filed against the BLM; lack of transparency and blatant violations of First Amendment Rights.
